He was predeceased by: his parent Jesse Fountain; and his siblings, Arlene Harris, Norene Wehling, Jeanette Maag, Jobie, Donald and Lloyd Skiles.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Sue Ferrell Skiles; his children, Jenny Pierson (Vic) of Charleston, Tom Skiles (Elizabeth) of Charleston and Kathy Yates (Jeff) of Elkview; his sisters, Juanita Belcher of Charleston and Geraldine Spradling (Dallas) of Ripley; his grandchildren, JT, Jeremy Moore, Kody Yates (Briana), Kaleigh Hill (Cory) and Kerrie Skiles; and his great grandchildren, Brody Yates, Bryce and Wesley Hill.
