He is survived by: his wife Marsha Beasley; his pets, Daisy and Rex; his children, Joanna Johnson of Clendenin and Doug Beasley II (Teri) of Pinch; his grandchildren, Ryan Beasley, Libby Johnson and Wyatt Johnson; and his siblings, Jimmy Beasley Sr. and Francie Beasley.

Beas was a charter member of the Blue Knights West Virginia 1 Law Enforcement Motorcycle Organization and a former instructor with the Motorcycle Safety Foundation.
