She was predeceased by: her parents, Olvin N. Rutledge and Winnie Rutledge (Robinson); her son Stephen W. Smith; and her sister Edna M. Fisher (Rutledge). She is survived by: her husband John W. Smith of Charleston, WV.; her son Roger; her daughter-in-law Mary; her grandsons, Logan [Kelsey] of Portsmouth, VA, Luke of Chesapeake, VA and Alston of Colorado Springs, CO; her sister Janice Taylor; and her sister-in-law Donzela Wilson. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cunningham Parker Johnson Funeral Home (1325 Washington St W, Charleston, WV 25302). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Southeast Church of the Nazarene (5102 MacCorkle Ave SE, Charleston, WV 25304).
