He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest W. Ellis Sr. and Bertha Burgess Ellis; and his siblings, Wilda Ernestine, Donsal Dean and Lonzel Albert'Abbie'Ellis.
He is survived by: his children, Yolanda'Angel', Billy, Ernie III and Casey; his siblings, Paul Ellis (Jan) of Bristol, VA., Kathryn'Kathy'Horton of Dayton and Wanda Goodwin of Cross Lanes, WV.; and his friends, Ted, Lora Mae, Sissy and Sharon. He is also survived by his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
