He was predeceased by: his parents, Lanta Jackson and Audry Jackson; his wife Shirley Jean Jackson; and his son Gary Jackson. He is survived by: his daughter Elaine Jackson of South Charleston; his grandsons, Christopher of North Carolina and Matthew Jackson of North Carolina; his brother Lanta Dale Jackson (Fran) of Texas; his sister-in-law Judy Gill (Bo); and his daughter-in-law Lisa Jackson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, students and friends.
