He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carter and Maude Carter. He is survived by: his wife Annie Carter; his children, Judy Clarke (Gerald), Jerry Carter (Barbara) and Bob Carter (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Lisa, Linda, Lori, Jim, Bonnie, Robbie, Eric and Jessica; his brother Clayton Carter (Elizabeth); his sister-in-law Mabel Upshall; his siblings, Eva (Martin), Alice (Arthur) and Chesley (Jean); and his siblings-in-law, Jerry, Grace (Harold), Lester (Hope), Ted (Jean), Mary (Jim), Florence (Archibald), Jack (Jazelle), Bill (Diane) and Ruby.
In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in his loving memory to The Gideons International.
