It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ennis Jess Austin (Charleston, West Virginia), born in Kayford, West Virginia, who passed away on January 30, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ennis Austin and Cleo Austin; his former wife Joy Austin; his children, Glenna, Peggy Lanham and James Austin; and his grandson Scott Hendley.

He is survived by: his wife Mildred; his daughter Karen Galford (Jim); his grandson Eric J. Hendley (Heather); his great grandchildren, Tyler, LeeAnn, Holly Hendley, Ayden and Lilly; his siblings, Norma Stanley, Carolyn Mobley (Keith) and Raymond Austin (Rose); his stepsons, John Stevens and Dennis Stevens (Bev); and his stepgrandchildren, Michael, Ryan (Kristi), Andrew Stevens and Jenny White (Adam). He is also survived by great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
