She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Thompson and Elizabeth Meadows Thompson; her husband Cecil Allison McDaniel; and her sisters, Betty Ann Burnette (Dick) of South Charleston and Dora Hundley of Charleston.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy Gunnoe of Charleston, Patty Strickland (Jim) of Charleston, Terry McDaniel (Beth) of Red House and Greg McDaniel (Martha) of Dunbar. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.
