She was predeceased by: her mother Elizabeth Thompson; her husband Dickie Burnette; her siblings, Edward Thompson, Richard Thompson, James Thompson and Ella McDaniel; her daughters, Becky Young and Cindy Young; and her granddaughter Kelli Jo Burnette.
She is survived by: her sons, Rick Burnette of South Charleston and Jeff Burnette (Amy) of South Charleston. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
