With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Cantrell of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on August 31, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Sheets and Flota Fields Sheets; her husband Herman "Bear" Cantrell; and her sons, Danny, Roger and Terry Cantrell.

She is survived by: her children, Barry Cantrell (Renaya) of Charleston, Steve Cantrell of Clayton, Paulette Brockhoff of Sarasota and Richard Cantrell (Kimberly) of Charleston. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Kanawha Hospice Care, 1606 Kanawha Blvd W., Charleston, West Virginia 25387.
