Edeltraud Bailes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2021, at the age of 77, Edeltraud Bailes of Charleston, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Schäfer and Lydia Linnebacher Schäfer; and her siblings, Ingeborg Schäfer and Herbert Schäfer. She is survived by: her husband Howard Bailes; her children, Jess Bailes (Tina) of South Charleston and Elizabeth DelPrato (Dave); her grandsons, Justin Bailes (Erin) of Charleston, Travis Bailes (Misti) of Charleston and Jonathan McDaniel; her stepgrandchildren, Laura DelPrato and Scott DelPrato (Veronica); her sister Renate Whaley; and her aunt Ilse Linnebacher of Germany. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
