He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack King and Ollie Mae Hopkins King; his wife Sarah Tucker King; his daughter Sandra Morris; and his siblings, Dewey, Sylvia and Dovie.

He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Morris of Campbells Creek, Suzie Woods (Con) of Campbells Creek, Denise Watson (Terry) of Campbells Creek, Peggy Cooper (Brad) of Campbells Creek and Mark King (Dawn) of Hurricane. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, it is mandated by the Governor and the CDC that proper facial coverings be worn and that social distancing be observed.
