He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Cross and Mamie Cross; his wife Phyllis Cross; and his daughter Karen Koon (Clarence). He is survived by: his children, Darleen Caldwell (John) of St. Albans and Dorse Cross, Jr. (Gina) of Tornado; his nephew Richard Guannoe of St. Albans; and his grandchildren, Christene Nemeth, Becky Koon-Adkins, Dave Osborne, Doug Osborne, Joe Cross, Jimmy Cross, Joshua Cross, TJ Caldwell and Tasha Caldwell. He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.
