With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Rider of Charleston, West Virginia, born in Fairmont, West Virginia, who passed away on December 21, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George; and her sister Virginia. She is survived by: her daughter Cathy (Kurt) of Charleston, WV; her grandchildren, Erin, Morgan, Victoria and Cailee; and her sister Jo Ann VanPelt (Jack) of Bonita Springs, Florida. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Alzheimer's Research Foundation.
