It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Ray Ellis of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on February 20, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Kevin; his parents, William Ellis and Elizabeth Ellis; and his brothers, William Jr. and Robert.

He is survived by: his wife Violet; his children, Lisa (Bud) of Ohio and David (Haley) of Charleston; his grandchildren, Monty, Megan of Ohio, Addilyn of Charleston, Summer, Joy Lynn, Liam and Milo of Ohio; his siblings, Jerry (Jo) of Campbells Creek, Ruth, Connie (Raymond) of Charleston, Peggy of Ohio and Debbie (Don) of Georgia; and his pet Bruiser. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
