He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leo Owen McGovern and Amelia McGovern (Smalt); his wife Katherine McGovern (Reeser) of Wayland, NY; his sister Gloria Underwood (McGovern); his children, Nancy Azzi (Robert Azzi) of Mulberry, FL, Robert McGovern (Lydia Dungog) of Stafford, VA, Thomas McGovern of Houston, TX, Luanne McGovern (William Carlon) of Charleston, WV and Susan McGovern (Keith Crumpton) of Hesperus, CO.; and his granddaughter Lindsey Kvasnicka (Partridge). He was also cherished by five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
