She was predeceased by: her parents, Ward Caldwell and Mariann Caldwell (Hilditch); and her son Jay Dee Samples. She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Gaten; her grandchildren, Tabatha Gaten of Ocala Florida, Stephen Gaten of Ocala Florida, Brittany Gaten of Ocala Florida, Jeremy Samples (Emily) of Ocala Florida, Jessica Cintron (Winston) of Ocala Florida and Joshua Samples of Ocala Florida; and her brother David Caldwell of South Charleston. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
