With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diana Rashid Salamie in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on December 23, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard N. Salamie of South Charleston; her nephew Stephen Hendricks of New York; her parents, Mitchell Rashid and Mosa Rashid; and her siblings, Annette Gall (Chris) and Leroy Rashid (Claudette).
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Salamie (Jamie) of Knoxville, TN, Dann Salamie (Sharon) of Hurricane, Ryad Salamie of South Charleston and Gabriel Salamie MD (Denise) of Zionsville, IN.; her grandchildren, Eli, Haley and Hannah; her siblings, Lenore Rashid Hendricks and Richard C. Rashid MD (Eleanor) of Charleston; and her nieces and nephews, Georgette Rashid George, Michelle, Charles Richard Rashid, Mitchell Rashid MD, Nicole Rashid Bown MD, Paul Rashid MD, Megan Gall and Chris Gall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, St. Jude's Hospital or the Salvation Army Food Bank of Charleston, WV.
