He was predeceased by: his parents, James Monroe Anderson and Shirley Jean Anderson; his siblings, James M. Anderson Jr. and Tammy Lynn Anderson Chaney; and the mothers of children, Connie Mae Anderson and Melissa Joy Bradley.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dicky Anderson (Mary) and Donna Reed (Bruce); his children, Amber Lyons (Kennith), Misty Rae White (Chris) and James Robert Anderson; his grandchildren, Nathaniel James, Brenndon White, Keagan White, Allie Lyons, Addison Lyons and Graydon Lyons; his nephews, Michael Jackson (Nicole) and Marshall Chaney; and his niece Sara Jackson (Kevin).
