He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Noah Lawrence Stephenson and Elizabeth Fowler Stephenson; his siblings, Jean, Jim, Robert and Carol; his former wife Betty; his wife Ruth Zika of Charleston; his daughters, Sue Painter (Ed) of Hurricane, Brenda Kahn (Kahn) of Florida and Wanda Marks; his siblings, Karen, Elizabeth Stephenson and Richard (Chris) of Northville, MI.; and also Richard Wolfe. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to David's beloved church, the Hissom Tabernacle, 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue, Charleston, WV 25302.
