He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanual Pauley and Clarice Hatfield; his wife Genelea; his daughter Laura Lee; his sister Emma Dearman; his brother-in-law Orus "O. D." Dearman; and his sister Betty Diane.
He is survived by: his sisters, Karen Pauley of Charleston and Sue Kopnisky of Charleston; and his friends, Bob Kelley, Cindy Edwards and Cruz Vandall. He is also survived by three nieces and three nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations may be made to Hubbard Hospice House West, 4605 MacCorkle Ave, SW, South Charleston, WV 25309.
