He is survived by: his wife Millie Sanford; his stepsons, Alex Sanford and Garrett Sanford (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Braden and Mary Kathryn Sanford; his daughter Karen Cate; his grandchildren, Stu and Caroline Cate; his daughter Brooke Frierson (Travis Whittier); his grandchildren, Eva Whittier and Liberty-Grace Jarrett; and his daughter Courtney Frierson (J. Wade Younger).
