He is survived by: his wife Mona Carpenter; his son Danny Ray Carpenter (Mary) of Sissonville; his siblings, Charles Carpenter of Nitro, David Carpenter (Norma) of Sissonville, Patricia Landers (Jerry) of Charleston and Sharon Jones (Bill) of Charleston; his grandchildren, Danny Michael Bostic, Ashley Carpenter, Steven Carpenter, Ryan Woods and Aaron Woods; and also, Jeff Carpenter (Cindy) of Kenna and Steve Carpenter (Jaime) of Hurricane.
