He is survived by: his children, Shannon of Pittsburgh and Shea (Gauley) of Fayetteville, WV; his grandchildren, Keller Stowers and Nash Mulcahy of Fayetteville; his nephew Teddy Wells of Richmond, VA; and his nieces, Carrie Wallace of Huntington, Shelly Kelley of Tallahassee, FL and Linette Wells of Roanoke, VA..
