We bid farewell to Dane K. Gerwig of Charleston, West Virginia, born in Gassaway, West Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 14, 2024 at the age of 90. Dane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Gerwig and Lucile Sumpter Gerwig; and his wife Alpha Coberly Gerwig. He is survived by: his sons, Dane Larry Gerwig (Judy) of Charleston, WV and Alan Gerwig (Anne) of Wellington, FL; his grandchildren, Jessica Chusid (Jordan) of Parkland, FL, Dane Gerwig of Taluca Lake, CA and Luke Gerwig (Amara) of Greenacres, FL; his great grandchildren, Leighton Chusid, Millie Chusid and Rory Chusid; and his sister Josephine G. Coberly (Rolland).
