He is survived by: his mother Sue Crusan; his stepfather Don Crusan of Hurricane; his siblings, Casey Parsons of Hurricane and Amy Tabor (Bobby) of Charleston; his daughter Cassie Nelson of Cross Lanes; his aunt Sharon Pittman of Charleston; his cousins, Melissa Carter of Charleston and Shane Harper of North Charleston; his caregiver Melinda "Myndi" Chaplin; his son Tyler; the mother of his children Martha Chaplin; and also, Olivia (James), Simmons, Savannah Fisher and Shannon Fisher.
