She was predeceased by: her parents, John Earl and Althea Ellen Crowder of Sissonville; her husband Charles Steele; and her siblings, Lizzie Marie Crowder, Blanche Crowder Stone and Walter Clinton Crowder.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Terry Steele (Nancy) of St. Charles, MO, Patricia Wood Murray and Cheryl L. Gwinn of South Charleston; her grandchildren, Adam Tomlinson, Lindsay Tomlinson, Tom Steele, Scott Steele, Summer Dawn Wood Radford and Dustin Wood; her great grandchildren, Skylar, Kelcee and Willow; and her sisters, Donna Crowder Whiting (Otho) and Drema Crowder Tignor.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name can be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church or the Hubbard Hospice House.
