It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Grinstead Hamrick (Charleston, West Virginia), who passed away on October 30, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Edward Grinstead and Mary Elizabeth Rimmer Grinstead; her husband Dr. George V. Hamrick; her siblings, John Grinstead of Irvine, Calif. and Mary Burgess of Culloden; her children, Elizabeth LeBrun (Al) of Los Angeles, Elaine McGuire (Bob) of Arlington Heights, Ill, Dr. Emily Battle (Dill) of Charleston and Alan (Jamie) of San Diego; her grandchildren, Joe Dekin, George Battle, Julia Battle, Jack Hamrick, Luke Hamrick and Sam Hamrick; and her caregiver Carla Roberts.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hubbard Hospice House (hospicecarewv.org) are requested.
