He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Stevens and Alpha "Marie" Stevens (Mullins); his grandson Gabriel; and his siblings, Ricky and Barbara.
He is survived by: his former wife Sally; his sons, Mark A. Stevens of Charleston and Clayton Jr. (Christa) of North Carolina; his stepsons, Ed Sheets of Gallagher and Chucky Kay of Charleston; and his sister Rebecca Zogol of Morgantown.
