She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. Tompkins and Leila May Hadden Tompkins; and her siblings, Charles Stewart, Benjamin Tompkins, Thomas Tompkins and Jo Anne Schanck Celebration of Clarice.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Burval; her children, Susan Anderson of Wauconda, Dr. Daniel Burval (Roxanne) of Hendersonville and Hayden Tabb (Virginia) of Davenport; and her sisters, Jeanette Trowell (Randall) of Murfreesboro and Joyce Dearden (Stephen) of Daytona Beach. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren, brothers.
