She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry J. W. and Mary Elizabeth Laur of Pittsburg, PA.. She is survived by: her husband Charles Peal; her children, Andrew "Andy" Peal of Massachusetts, Katherine "Katie" Al-Widyan (Mahmoud) of Paris, France and Elyse Peal of Charleston; her grandchildren, Lina of Paris, Charles of Charleston and Adalynne of Charleston; her sister-in-law Beth McDowell of Charleston, SC; her nephew Philip McDowell (Emma); and also Cooper of Charleston, SC..
