He was predeceased by: his mother Frances Dawkins; and his brother John Dawkins. He is survived by: his wife Anna Lee Dawkins; his children, Lisa Ann Dawkins (Price Tubbs-Talley) and Charles Warne Dawkins Jr.; his grandson George Brady Dawkins; and his pet Bubba.
