Charles Tuitt Obituary
Charles D. Tuitt, 68, of St. Albans, passed away, due to complications of COVID-19, Saturday December 18, 2021 at CAMC Memorial Hospital.
He was born January 22, 1953 in Bronx, NY, son of the late James and Carmen Charles Tuitt. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Caroleigh Tuitt.
Charles was retired as a librarian from Kanawha County and was a member of the Carpenter Ants Band for over 30 years.
Charles is survived by his wife, Loren; sons Dereke Dunham (Aron) of Ona, Jeff Dunham (Alisha) of South Charleston, Andre Rousseau of South Charleston, Rick Clendenin (Blanca) of St. Augustine, FL; daughter Kendra Bishop (John) of Atlanta, Ga and Tanya Thorpe of Troy, NY; sister Lauren Tuitt of Dallas TX, and 32 grandchildren. He will be remembered from his friends at the library and his many fans and friends with the Carpenter Ants.
Due to COVID the family will be having a private graveside service at Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston.
