Charles Melton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2023, at the age of 93, Charles Melton of Charleston, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fannie Monday and Delbert Melton; and his significant other Janese Melton (Allen). He is survived by: his siblings, Delbert "Junior" Melton, Lenora Genevieve Melton Dearien, Laura Melton Peters, Russell Melton and Ronald Lee "Preacher" Melton; his nieces and nephews, Elaine Ranson, Lee Ann Cook, Ginger Fox, Glen Allen Peters, Shelly Ausderheide, Michael Melton and Diane Melton; his great-niece Brigitte McCann; and his goddaughter Janice Arthur (Butch).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bubby's honor to Cathedral of Prayer Southern Baptist Church, 2326 Pennsylvania Avenue, Charleston WV 25302.
