He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Wheeler and Ruby Wheeler Walker; and his brother Bill Wheeler (Nina). He is survived by: his wife Karen; his brother Ron Wheeler (LeAnne) of Hurricane; his children, David Shawn Wheeler (Susan) of Charleston, Jeff Wheeler (Tracy) of Raleigh and April Hiller (Matt) of Parkesburg, Pennsylvania; and his grandchildren, Grace, Jonathan, Jacob, Isabel, Micah, Marcie, Jeffrey and Will.
