We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2024, at the age of 87, Catherine Mosley Jones of Charleston, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Romie Mosley and Iola Murray Mosley; her stepfather Curtis Richardson; her siblings, Lawrence Mosley Sr., Eugene Mosley, Albert Mosley, Romie Mosley Jr. and Greta Carr; her brother-in-law Charles Carr; and her son-in-law George Miller.
She is survived by: her aunt Church; her husband Freddie Dewitt Jones of Charleston; her children, Dawn Yvette Jones, Vernon Eric Jones (Barbara), Renita Kay Jones, Cynthia Denise Miller, Bruce Quintin Jones, Keith Alan Jones and Catherine Elaine Jones; her stepsons, L. Dwight Scott (Beverly), Larry Adkins and Kirk Adkins; her sister Iola Mosley of Charlotte, NC; her sister-in-law Jeanette Mosley of Paterson, NJ; and her brothers, Samuel Mosley of Detroit, MI, George Mosley of Chesapeake and Raymond Richardson of Charleston.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church (11744 MacCorkle Ave SE, Chesapeake, WV 25315). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
