She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Woodrum and Thelma Woodrum; and her daughter Carla Monk. She is survived by: her husband Woodrow Monk Jr.; her children, Stephanie Bowles (Michael) of Belle and Clarence Monk (Misty) of Ohley; her siblings, Shirley Doss of Barrett, Linda Doss of Browns Branch and Mayburn Woodrum of Angier, NC; her grandchildren, Christopher Green of Ohley, Haylie Green of Belle, Theresa McMenamin of Kalamazoo, MI, Bryan McMenamin of Pittsburgh, PA and Tiffany Merrill of Coppers Creek; and her great grandchildren, Anneliese Booth and Remington Merrill. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a celebration of her life will be held in the future.
