She was predeceased by: her parents, Marguerette Beverage (Lanham) of Marmet and James Lanham of Marmet; and her sister Linda Myers of Charleston. She is survived by: her husband John C. Kuhn; her sons, John C. Kuhn, II of Charleston and A. Scott Kuhn of Port Charlotte, FL.; her grandson John M. Clark; her great grandchildren, Alexis of Shallotte, NC., Isaiah of Shallotte, NC. and Ian Clark of Shallotte, NC.; and her sister Helen Shultz of Charleston.

In lieu of flowers, Carol has requested donations to St. Jude and other children's charities.
