She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hanly and Mildred McLane Hanly; and her husband Charles Hurt. She is survived by: her children, John Hurt of Charleston, SC and Sarah Long; her son-in-law Jim Long of Charleston, WV; and her grandchildren, Carolyn "Carrie", Charlie and Grace Long.
