It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Mozell Spencer in Charleston, West Virginia, born in Williamsburg, Virginia, who passed away on June 4, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her sister Linda Hamilton (Dave); her daughter Elizabeth Cotton (Tim); her grandchildren, Mariea Anjouney Alston (Tyrell), Gregory Jerome Cotton II, Dwight Robinson (Monica) and Reginald Scott; and her close friends, Terry, Melissa Hamrick, Betty Spencer and Dorothy Setzer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Institute Church of the Nazarene, 212 Washington Avenue, Institute, WV 25112.
