It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Jean Gardner (Charleston, West Virginia), who passed away on January 9, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Gardner and Jean Parrish Gardner; and her brother Thomas Jefferson Gardner. She is survived by: her brother Edward Gardner (Deborah); her nieces, Rachel Gardner Talbert (Eduardo) and Katherine Parrish Gardner (Chris Smith); her great-nephews, Aubrey Smith, Asa Gardner Smith, EJ Talbert, Sebastian Talbert and Owen Talbert; and her caregiver Jessica Morriston.
