It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Hope Byrd of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on June 18, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Pleasants and Bonnie Pleasants; and her husband Troy Lee Byrd. She is survived by: her sibling Gayle Thompson; her daughter Cheryl Hunt; her granddaughter Karen S Mann (Mike) of South Charleston; her brother William M Pleasants (Becky) of Buffalo; her nieces, Kimberly S. Rios of Purcellville, VA and Amy Smith of Eleanor; and also Viola of North Charleston.
