She is survived by: her husband Roy Akers, Jr.; her children, Jennifer Copenhaver (Geary) of Elkview, Kim Akers (Eric Johnson) of Charleston, James Akers of Charleston and Mark Akers (Laura) of Scott Depot; and her grandsons, Jack Copenhaver, Christopher Akers and Marshall James Akers.
