He was predeceased by: his father Billy Russell; his grandparents, Eva Mae Patton Russell, Woodrow and Bertha Lowe; his aunt Juanita Lowe Brown; and his uncle Woody Lee Lowe.
He is survived by: his mother Annette Lowe Russell; his siblings, Chad Allen Russell and Nina Marie Russell; his nieces, La'Nya Johnson, Aubinie Russell and Very Caring; and his aunts and uncles, Terry Russell (Lori), Larry Lowe (Deb), Gary Russell, Libby Lowe Shepherd, Patty Pauley, Irene Lowe Pittman and Numerous.
