He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar McFarland and Ophelia A. McFarland; his siblings, Wayne, Claude, Orville McFarland and Ruby; and his brother-in-law Clovy Fisher.
He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Roberts and Melody Kimbler of Madison; and his grandchildren, Austin, Erica and Lauren. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
