She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon "Jack" and Carrie Cottrell; her sister Cheryl Akers; and her close friend Anita Arnold. She is survived by: her husband Homer Munson; her daughter Monica Munson of Charleston; and her grandchildren, Teagan Hamil and Justice Frazier.
