Betty Gene Burke Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Gene Burke (Charleston, West Virginia), who passed away on August 8, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Marty and Maggie Hudson Marty; and her husband Lawrence "Dozie" Burke. She is survived by: her children, Dorcas Matheny (Paul) of Campbell's Creek, Marty Burke of Hansford and Randy Burke (Patty) of Ferguson, NC; and her grandchildren, Kim Mullins (Ed), Jill Kimble (Timmy), Brian Burke (Teresa), Heather Raines (Larry) and Torri Smallwood (Charlie). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be given in Betty's memory to the Campbell's Creek Food Pantry, 543 Campbell's Creek Drive, Charleston, WV 25306.
