She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Cecil and Georgie Marvin McDaniel (Knowles); her husband Norman Louis; and her brothers, Cecil Allison (Ella), Ernest Lee, Peyton Ashley (Eleanor), Andrew Lee (Mary), Marvin Wesley (Margaret), Boyd Kay (Jane) and James Samuel.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Ernest Norman Pennington (Rebecca), Deborah Pennington Wright (David Stiles) and Jeffrey Louis Pennington (Marsha); her grandchildren, Brian Pennington (Leila), John Pennington (Andrea), Jessica Wright, Carrie Wright and Kelly Pennington; her great grandchildren, Nolan, Levi and Ava Pennington; and her siblings, Georgie Alice Mooney (Thomas), Eileen Gale Taylor (David) and Bradford Murl McDaniel (Bethel).
