Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bessie Lois Blount of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away at the age of 99, on April 7, 2023. She was predeceased by: her father Reuben John; her husband Arnold Eugene Blount; her son Daniel Eugene Blount; and her grandson Jason Eugene Blount. She is survived by: her children, Lois "Kittie" Simmons (Glenn) of Baltimore and Stephen Neil Blount (Delores) of Charleston. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Spring Fork Baptist Church, 320 Campbells Creek Drive, Charleston, WV 25306.
