She was predeceased by: her parents, Easa Shalhoup and Nafie Shalhoup; her husband John G. Asseff; her sister Vivian Feola; and her brother-in-law Sal Feola.
She is survived by: her children, John Michael Asseff (Crissy) of St. Albans, WV and Nickie Asseff Welsh of Charleston, WV; her grandchildren, Zachary E. Welsh, John Michael Asseff, Anthony C. Welsh, Jessica Scott and Colton Vanbibber; her great grandchild Addison Shamblin; her brother Dr. Nicholas Shalhoup (Julia); her niece Erica Shalhoup Paterno (Tony); her great-nephews, Dominic and Vincent; her niece Kacie Maushart (Chris); her nephew Nicholas Feola (Katie); her great-nephews, Nicholas and William; and her nephew Michael Shalhoup (Kayleigh Tobias).
